Datawarehouse - Oracle PL/SQL Developer - Geneva

Requirements:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Data Warehouse Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and design efficient and scalable data warehouse solutions.
- ETL Development: Develop, test, and deploy Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data form various sources, transform it into the desired format, and load it into the data warehouse.
- Oracle PL/SQL Development: Leverage your strong Oracle PL/SQL skills to create and optimize complex database queries, procedures, and functions to enhance data processing and data manipulation capabilities.
- Data Modeling: Design and maintain data models to ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance in the data warehouse environment.
- Performance tuning: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the data warehouse, optimizing data retrieval and transformation processes for faster and more efficient data access.
- Data quality assurance: Implement data quality checks and validations to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data stored in the data warehouse.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams, including business analysts, commercial, investments, compliance and other developers, to understand their data requirements and deliver effective data solutions.
- Data security: Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the data warehousing lifecycle.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to data warehouse design, ETL processes, and data models for easy reference and knowledge transfer
- Proactive identification of issues or concerns related to potential gaps in existing processes, procedures, policies, frameworks, etc.
- Contribution to satisfactory results in audit reviews, compliance reviews, and regulatory examinations (internal/ external), Compliance and Regulatory Agency reviews; response to required corrective actions in a timely and complete manner.
- Completion of all assigned training (Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act, Audit, Code of Conduct, etc. ) and reporting requirements within set timeframes.
- Adherence to the Code of Conduct, assigned Risk Tolerance or Mandates and all organizational policies and procedures applicable to role.
Responsibilities:
Specialized Knowledge:
- Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development with a deep understanding of SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers (Oracle preferred, SQL- Server and Postgree a plus).
- Experience in data modeling and database design.
- Solid experience with data warehousing concepts, methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
- Knowledge of investment banking concepts and private banking data models and business a plus.
- Knowledge of Unix scripting, VBA, Python and cloud services (AWS) a plus.
